As the Terrigen Clouds move around the world they leave in their wake the wrecked lives of the Inhumanized. Crystal and her team are tasked to help as many of these NuHumans as possible, but it's not going to be easy. Not only are views of these new super-powered people varied (from fear to anger to amazement) but even those who get the powers aren't always glad to get them. Add to that the nineteen mysterious Skyspears that recently crashed into the Earth, and the Inhuman world just got a lot more complicated.
Rated T+
This issue made me ponder the post dark reign Mighy Avengers volume and the story of the redacted inhuman king "unspoken". This story introduced the Xerogen crystals, which could pose a strategic weapon for either the Inhumans or non-inhuman community going forward. Read Full Review
All-New Inhumans #2 is an entertaining read featuring some solid writing and great artwork. The Inhumans are an interesting group and Marvel is definitely putting some weight behind their brand with a creative team like this. I'm definitely in for issue #3 and I'm really enjoying seeing this deeper look at Inhumanity. Read Full Review
All-New Inhumans may lack the overall star power of its Uncanny cousin, but when it comes to story its sure putting up a good fight. Read Full Review
Great issue. Crystal showing off her political/diplomatic skills was fun to watch. Likewise, I can't wait to see the leader of Sin Cong get what's coming to him.
Crystal has been around the block and back again and it shines in this issue. And I like the little nod to Agents of Shield on the first couple of pages. I hope it goes somewhere exciting though. And who knew Swain would be so funny.
Better than expected
This issue traverses a lot of ground from start to finish and definitely leaves some gaps along the way. The political setup serves its purpose to place nuhumans in harm's way for Crystal's group to take action, but it seems cheap. The art continues to look great. Hopefully the next issue provides an interesting chapter to this story.
It's okay, but a bit too stretched out.
