Its difficult to tell how long Landy could keep the current format going before it starts to feel boring and repetitive. This comic has all the favorite core characters of the Avengers and each is well highlighted in action as well as dialogue. Another action-packed issue featuring all of the greats, but I can understand that some people are saying, "Get on with it already." It's pretty, but what's the story? I agree here. Landy is going to have to break the story soon.
It's nice that, 3 issues in, the protagonists are finally starting to get a feel for the bigger story. Unfortunately, the single-issue adventures remain dull and unengaging. A lot of that is down to the sterile art -- but the author certainly isn't helping by lining up 2 "we have to team up with a villain" stories in a row. (That choice will probably turn out to have some bigger meaning, but still.)
