Summary: (Continued from Web #31) Kraven stands before Spidey's headstone, dressed in Spidey's costume, & starts laughing. A woman caught in the rain is dragged down a manhole by Vermin. MJ is waiting for Peter to come to her apartment to help her move her stuff. In the back of her mind, she imagines that he is dead. Spidey-Kraven enters a room in his penthouse where spiders are kept behind glass panes. Kraven laps at a mind-altering concoction & imagines that he is fighting against a giant spider composed of the thousands of small spiders. Vermin finishes off his meal. He sees a newspaper with a picture of Spidey, which makes him afraid. (Vermin had a bad encounter with Spidey & Cap previously.) As he eats a rat, Vermin hears MJ walking over the manhole cover above him & wonders what it is. She is out in the rain looking for Peter. She encounters two creeps. Kraven continues to fight against the giant spider & is covered by it, symbolizing his surrender to becoming Spider-Man. MJ is running from the two creeps. As she is caught by them, "Spidey" shows up & beats them to a pulp. As "Spidey" climbs away up a wall, MJ realizes that it wasn't Peter. Vermin crawls out of the manhole to convince himself that he isn't afraid of Spider-Man anymore. more
