The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally
Feb 04, 2026MacKay creates a thrilling, fun and inventive story in this issue. I like seeing these teams working together and the story allows for some great moments between them that I appreciated. There is a great progression of events in the story leading to a fantastic twist with the return of the Ashen Combine and what happens to them at the end of the issue. Plot The Twilight Court and the Avengers devise a plan to stop this fragment of the deceased universe from Secret Wars, which is about to activate and create a new universe. This impossible plan to send the Grail to another multiverse is accomplished by unifying the powers of the Avengers with the Twilight Court through a complex but magnificently explained process. The plan consists of sending this Grail of Time to another multiverse and waiting for it to activate and create another new universe. They are attacked by the Ashen Combine, who steal the Grail.
