Six months ago, Crossbones kidnapped the Red Skull's daughter from a government reeducation facility, and disappeared into the night. Now learn where they have been all this time, and what his plans are for this spawn of infinite evil. A special stand-alone issue, by Ed Brubaker and Mike Perkins, that lays the groundwork for the next year of Cap stories, and shines a spotlight on one of the strangest and misunderstood characters in the Marvel Universe.

Love what they did with Sin! Crossbones is actually badass for once
Although, Steve doesn’t appear much in this issue, Captain America stands as one of this series’ best issues yet. Crossbones kidnapped the mind-wiped Sinthia Schmidt who thinks her name is Erica. Crossbones tortures Sinthia to try to make her remember who she is and who her father was. This comic sets up future issues perfectly and the art is great
Whew... back to this series after so much time... I already have too many dropped series, so it's time to close some of them up. I never tried this series after the Winter Soldier arc before. Good issue! It reminded me why I loved Brubaker & Perkins. This issue is cool even without Cap as a main character.
UPD Just remembered, that Perkins was inker in the previous issues and now he's both inker and artist. Well, I didn't think inker can be this important for the style of the book, because his art doesn't look much different from Epting's if you don't give it too much thought. Cool.
