Not the most feel-good issue, but one that you will definitely remember. This issue changes course for Darkhawk and this series. The great ending will have you on the edge of your seat!! Read Full Review
Darkhawk #3 continues to humanize its hero, as it shows him dealing with an unfathomable loss. The end of the issue, as well as the cover for Darkhawk #4, promises a team-up with two other Marvel heroes and I can't wait to see it. With how well-constructed and engaging this series is, I hope we don't see the last of Connor Young when it's over. Read Full Review
Darkhawk #3 is easily the most action-packed issue of the series so far, but it doesn't rely on that blockbuster action alone. Read Full Review
All of the pieces are there for a perfectly fine comic, but nothing is really being done to make this stand out or even really matter. Read Full Review
Yet another great entry into this miniseries that I REALLY wish should have been ongoing. Kyle Higgins is absolutely nailing this story, and every time an issue comes out, it’s in the first three I pick up at the shop. Let’s keep up this momentum for the next two.
This is still a shockingly good Darkhawk miniseries.
This is an awfully speedy issue and I see some storytelling problems, particularly in the visuals. But Connor remains a compelling protagonist, and this book is great about exploring the nature of the Darkhawk from his outsider perspective. I'm a lot more forgiving of the occasional fumble when creators are hammering out a strong, simple story, and this sure fits the bill.
