I have to say I am loving this series! The artwork is amazing! I find myself spending a lot of time just staring at the pages admiring the art. I also love the story it's a very unique and in my opinion fascinating story. It's a really fresh new take on Spider-Man and I'm loving it!
The artist is working his fingers to the bone and the results are impressive.
Over on the script side, though, I'm adrift. I'm hoping for inspiring language or intriguing plot development (ideally both), but I'm getting neither. And that mires my rating for this book in "average" territory. The high end, because it's so pretty, but still…average.
The writing leaves a lot to be desired but I love the art.
