AT THE MERCY OF THE HORNED EMPEROR! Deadpool has been in a lot of tough spots, but this is definitely the first time he's been captured by an antlered cloud-head person. When we say it like that it seems weird, but this is some real trouble! Can even his new paramour or giant symbiote dog save him?

As the series heads into the final issue for the story arc, one can be excited to see how the conclusion unfolds with the hope that some of the weaker parts of the issues will be missing for its finale. Read Full Review
Deadpool #9 delivers one hell of a gut punch. Read Full Review
Deadpool is in a lot of different stories and there is at least one other current Deadpool comic so this is one of them I suppose? If you enjoy the character and have already been reading this storyline I would recommend it. Read Full Review
Deadpool #9 completes the penultimate issue in the Atelier arc (and Alyssa Wong's run) to a flat finish with interesting fights, solid art, and at least one surprise, but the overall plot lack drama, and Deadpool's escape scene is embarrassingly contrived. Read Full Review
I continue to really enjoy this series, despite what I believe to be a minor slip in quality. Some of the stuff that has happened throughout this series and even in this issue is just so weird, but so good at the same time. It perfectly fits with the tone of a Deadpool book, and I think Wong just gets it when it comes to Deadpool. I also wasn't expecting Valentine to take over as the Horned Emperor. This book has consistently given us good content and I'll definitely be sad to see this one go if Issue 10 is, in fact, the final issue.
