Haha I love Mole Man teaming up with Johnny and Ben. I love every couple of years Reed and Sue decide to retire "for good" and Ben and Johnny get to be the Fantastic 2 for a while. Wish it went on longer in Byrne's run. Ngl I hate how Byrne constantly sets up plots for his other books though

Another amazing issue. Ben and Johnny have to team up with the Mole Man. Never saw that one coming. Byrne actually throws some science into it. An amusement park developer (Disney anyone?) wants to superheat Earth's core to add additional mass to the planet. Amazing. I miss Byrne as a writer My Comic Review Channel - https://youtu.be/_lfqj-W5haE

Johnny & Ben team up with the Mole Man to put a stop to Alden Maas' mad plan to super-heat the Earth's core to expand the crust. Mole Man brings along his pet monster, Giganto, to break through Maas' defenses. (Cover date: March, 1984)
