Humor becomes a weapon. Heroes succumb to righteous anger. New heroes arise to defend the multiverse in Giant-Size Amazing Spider-Man #1. And when they're most needed, Spidey and his iconic friends remind us why Earth-616 remains the brightest star in Marvel's sky. Read Full Review

While it is unlikely to truly "change the future of Marvel Comics, the old-school anthology nature of Giant-Size Amazing Spider-Man #1 makes it worth reading. If you're a Spider-Fan looking for a buffet-style sampling of the best of Marvel, this is a good one. And if you're a newcomer to the comics, it is a welcome entry point to Earth-616. Giant-Size Amazing Spider-Man #1 is a fun, varied, and visually dazzling tribute to the character, offering a little something for everyone whether you're here for laughs, multiverse shenanigans, or fresh heroes. While the price is a hurdle, the creative talent and content density more than justify the splurge for Spidey fans. Read Full Review

This was really odd. It is more like an Amazing Spider-Man team-up than Giant-Size ASM. I thought the cover was supposed to be related to cover itself, but it is more related to whole package. Art in all three stories was great. But that is almost all good I have to say about it. Smith's story is so average and boring that it's hard to give it any credit. Ewing was just more focused on G.O.D.S. and 616 than Spidey. And Rapid prelude was just that, not a Spidey story. So overall, meh package.
