It's the holidays yet again, and that means it's time to join EVERYONE'S FAVORITE GWEN (take that, Stacy!) and celebrate good times, come on! Only problem is...somehow this year's festive traditions seem to be a little...off...and Gwen's the only one who notices. FEATURING: Gwenpool (duh), Spider-Man, Red Skull, Punisher and even Deadpool! This is one present you know you gotta buy yourself!

For $5.99 this is a great deal as I found myself enjoying nearly every page of it. The general premise allows the creators to play around with the ridiculousness of the holiday season and push the envelope in creative ways. Bottom line: If you want a laugh buy Gwenpool Holiday Special. Read Full Review
Though conceptually similar to the DC rebirth Holiday Special, Gwenpool Holiday Special: Merry Mixup proves to be the stronger of the two books. Part of that is simply due to its willingness to quit before wearing out its welcome. But more importantly, the various holiday-themed vignettes actually tie together to tell a larger story. Gwenpool Holiday Special: Merry Mix Up #1 is a fun if mixed bag collection of festive stories that vary in quality . While a couple of stories left me feeling cold, there are enough laughs inside the more than 60 page issue to warm even my frozen heart. If you enjoy seeing your favourite (or least favourite) Marvel characters reimagined in a wacky-holiday way then this may be the Holiday Special for you. Read Full Review
Brilliant satire of America's secular/Christian holidays... Highlighting the warmth beneath the ridiculousness. As always in Gwenpoole's world, finding the delight and humanity in an often dark world. So much fun!
These weird, alternate holiday traditions are hilarious, and offer surprising commentary on modern Christmas traditions and stupid obsessions (War on Christmas anyone)? I enjoyed this issue a lot more than I thought I would.
This is a pretty fun anthology series. Somebody pointed out to me that Gwenpool has become the Marvel Harley Quinn, and reading this issue reminded me they could be right. She is a little crazy but still very charming. It makes me look at this issues in a cynical way. The story with Miles and Deadpool were both fun. All in all it is a pretty good holiday special.
Embarrasing. Insulting. Disturbing. And hardly a "Gwenpool" and/or "Special". [If anyone pushes this as a 616 book feel free to push down the rating too.]
