Still a very enjoyable series.
The story is rolling along at an entertaining pace when Spidey arrives to chuck the inevitable second-act monkey wrench in the works.
It's annoyingly predictable, but the annoyance is alleviated by Janine sharing it. Her exasperation with Spidey extends the title's winning run of consistent, sympathetic characterization for her. Even if it's not the most inventive in the world, her story remains engaging.
Spider-man fight was nice, interesting to see how she compares him to Ben. Nice to see the inner thoughts. Also plot was rather predictable so far. Sort of a pain-by-numbers issue. Not bad by any means, fun enough, but not amazing.
