The shape of the plot is familiar, but it provides every element well and carves out space for a few surprises by the end. Read Full Review
This mini was better than it had any right to be given the horribly contrived premise. Erica Schultz is someone to watch out for. And Michael Dowling is great as always.
I am actually shocked this was good
Still not sure if this is an 8 or 8.5 but all in all this series was a solid read. Much better than a lot of the other spider-related books out now.
Fight seen was ok, but I do like that this mini series actually led to some character development for Eve, so it makes it worth i. She is a bit of a changed person, and helps define her abilities a bit more (even if they are still pretty up in the air).
A solid read. Eve is an actually promising character with some personality which seems to be a rarity in Marvel now-a-days.
An enjoyable conclusion to an enjoyable series.

Basic storytelling conveys a basic resolution: A good ol' street brawl. Everybody on the scene gets something to do, and the action is tweaked by the clever use of Janine's magic masks, but ultimately it's just a punch-punch-punch climax.
There's nothing wrong with that, but not a lot special about it, either. It makes for an underwhelming finale.
