THE EPIC CONCLUSION!
• A cosmic battle to end all battles with Howard in the middle! Can he put an end to THE COLLECTOR once and for all with the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Silver Surfer?
• Seriously, I'm asking you. I'm on, like, page 12 of this script and I. Am. Stumped.

Overall, while this may not be the best jumping on point (and next issue is the second part in a two part crossover with The UnbeatableSquirrel Girl #6, so that may also not be ideal unless you also read that issue…) it's a fitting conclusion to a story that has been the right kind of madcap crazy fun sprinkled with a deceptive ability to get you right in the feels. Howard the Duck #5 offers everything but the kitchen sink, and given the involvement of Chip Zdarsky and Joe Quinones, it likely won't be long before the sink comes into play. Read Full Review
After mistakenly calling him Falcon, Howard corrects himself.Howard the Duck #5 does a great job of finishing up a story arc while we wait for the post-Secret Wars relaunch to come our way. It has a great mix of action and fun and the novelty of seeing some of my favorite heroes acting in a world Howard has grown accustomed to has not worn off. Leaving you with a tease of what awaits in the fall, I know one fan of The Duck who cant wait to keep reading. What are your thoughts? Any other Howard the Duck fans out there? A strong wrap-up for an interesting arc, finishing with a gutpunch cliffhanger ending... Read Full Review
Great fun from story to art. This is great!
ComicBookRoundup is getting the Howard titles mixed up, not surprising since it relaunched within the same year, but hopefully this review doesn't get mixed up. This is for the issue with the Guardians of the Galaxy helping Howard out against the Collector. Awesome issue, I don't know what useless Howard would do without friends. The ending is touching and has me excited for the next arc.
Even the prescene of the crappy Bendis GotGs can't stop this comic from being funny and interesting.
