Planet Hulk: Armageddon Part I
When Miek discovers the shuttle that brought the Hulk to Sakaar, the Green King faces his ultimate test of rage. Will he stay to rule the people for whom he has fought and bled for the past twelve issues... or will he seize the opportunity to wreak his vengeance on the Marvel "heroes" who sent him into this world of slavery, horror, and war? Also... the Spikes meet their destiny and Hulk and Caiera face the culmination of their greatest hopes and fears. The final two chapters of "Planet Hulk" begin here... don't miss this critical countdown to "World War Hulk!"
The other thing that bothers me is the near total absence of Hulks friends. Korg, Brood, Horoim, Elloe were carefully chosen to be Hulks gladiator friends. Their introduction was meticulous and spread out over several issues, but Pak dropped them like stones. They became background noise. This reveals a flaw in the story telling, I believe. This grand saga was just meant as a prologue to "World War Hulk" it seems. Read Full Review
I liked seeing the redemption aspect.
It's cool, but the ending is just too forced imo... They really just pushed the conclusion. I wanted to see more peaceful Holku, but maybe Hulk wasn't made for peace... Yeah, this arc is already almost exhausted itself, but it was so much more interesting, than typical Hulk smash comics... And what did we get after the Planet Hulk and WWH? Red Hulk? Original stupid Hulk again? I dunno, they could at least give him a chance to have a good life.
