The teams on this book have put together some fun combos that speak directly to their respective audiences. Luckily, the pairings all work with the writing pretty well. I'm not sure how pairings like "Squirrel Hulk" or "Iron Widow" would have worked. Actually, I kinda want to see "Iron Widow." Marvel! Make my dreams come true! Read Full Review
Infinity Warps #1 is exactly what it needs to be. With three-and-a-half mini-stories in one title, it gives creative teams just enough room to experiment with this mashed-up characters without drawing it out too long. Read Full Review
Swiping an excellent trick from AvX's A+X, Infinity Wars includes a gag series, and here it is. In general, it's nice comic relief and a welcome palate cleanser. The Moon Squirrel strip is a gol-durned treasure, though. It features a genuinely thoughtful story, remarkable (perhaps misguided given Warp World's lifespan) world-building, and a flawless combination of the greatest strengths - clever-absurd writing and charming art, respectively - of Squirrel Girl and Moon Girl.
Fun short stories without much to say.
I enjoyed Moon Squirrel and Tippysaur, but the other two were far to brief to be entertained by.
Some of these were better than others! Extra point for convincing Doomlactus to leave by translating everything he hears into praise.
