Ironheart #7 is the kind of fun you want more of from this series. We want to see Riri become the best person she can, we want to see her overcome all of her traumas, but you don't get to that point without good friends by your side and a little humor along the way to brighten your day. 'Ironheart #7' is a lighthearted and action-packed story with just the right amount of zombies to show off Riri and Nadia's dynamic friendship. Though lacking in narrative depth, it is a fun issue that keeps the focus on heart and I appreciate that. Read Full Review
The undead action, and the heroic response to it in this issue, it is brought to life well by Vecchio's art and Milla's color combinations. As funny and action packed as the writing is in this book, the art matches it step for step with some nice dynamic action panels, mixed with nice character portrayal. This issue picks up the action again in a big way after the one shot Miles cameo appearance last issue. Worth checking out at the beginning of a new story arc. Read Full Review
Ironheart has been working its way upward in the past few issues, but #7 feels more like a plateau that'll hopefully be crossed soon. Read Full Review
This was fun
I had a lot of fun reading this one.
Wasp is in town just in time to help Riri with a zombie outbreak. The plot strikes a great balance between ongoing story and one-off adventure, and the dialogue is spare and scalpel-sharp. The art amplifies cartoony style with well-chosen detail and plenty of polish. Visually and verbally, this title is a great bridge between "all ages" stuff and Marvel's top-shelf cape books -- just a teensy bit simpler than the A-listers, but put together with just as much passion and care.
"I should have bet you Money."
I don’t like zombies.
