As Ironheart creeps closer to understanding the powerful people who have been wreaking magical havoc around her, she needs to talk to someone who can give her a clue... and it's none other than the Sorcerer Supreme himself, DOCTOR STRANGE!

Ironheart #8 was an important issue in terms of setting up for something bigger. But the heart to heart and cameos make the issue completely worth checking out. Especially if you're a fan of either character involved. Read Full Review
'Ironheart #8' continues the recent team-up nature of the series with a beautiful introduction of Doctor Strange in the Sanctum Sanctorum. It's full of drama and heart, but it also feels more concerned with getting Riri to her next destination. Will the next issue make this worthwhile? We will have to just wait and see! Read Full Review
This issue was a fast read, but Ironheart #8 was satisfying for the answers that Riri got about what the Ten Rings might be after, and insight into the next steps she needs to take in order to continue improving herself. Right now I think it is important to acknowledge what these young hero books are doing right in contrast to the older heroes. They are finding their way to become proper heroes in their own right, but more than that, they are striving towards being the best person they can be. Who you are in costume is only as important as you are behind the mask. Or helmet in Riri's case. Read Full Review
We finally see a bit more character development with Riri this issue- Eve Ewing does a good job balancing a personal story with a global, magical threat. Dr Strange plays a credible, even fun Father Figure for an issue in a guest spot that actually makes sense in the story. After a slow start to the series, its good see it starting to pick up and get interesting on multiple levels. Read Full Review
Despite the warning, and possibly to the chagrin of our guest in the title, Riri manages to deduce where she needs to go on the next part of her journey despite the location being secretive (and the effort of her companion to conceal this information from her.) I'm wondering exactly how much the warning she was given will be part of foreshadowing in the future, but for now, I can suggest this lovely 3.5 out of 5 star title to anyone who has been a fan of Iron Heart. Based on what we've seen in this issue, it looks like it's time to start paying more attention to Ironheart considering what's to come. Read Full Review
An exciting and beautiful issue. Luciano Vecchio is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
After bidding the Wasp a nice farewell, Riri does a little demon-busting with Dr. Strange before getting a plot-developing info-dump from him. Pace and plot are a little bit off, but I am really loving the art and characterization. It's a textbook example of a comic where you have to like the protagonist to enjoy the content -- and the creators do a sterling job making sure I do like the protagonist.
Big fan of the art. I'd also like to see more of Riri and Nadia together after the last issue and a half.
"Evil is something you are or are not. Evil is something that any humain can do or do not, given the circustances. That's why we have to choose to do the right thing."
A fine issue. I didn't like how Doctor Strange was written, however.
There was something about this issue that really rubbed me the wrong way.
