Kidpool & Spider-Boy #1 was shockingly endearing. It's not for everyone but it is definitely a great story for younger readers looking to get into the craziness of Deadpool without the Hard-R material. For older readers, the dumb fun of a story like this makes for a tight yet breezy read that'll take them back to a time when superhero stories were able to be a bit simpler. Read Full Review

While Christopher Yost and the art team aim for lighthearted fun, the issue struggles with inconsistent tone, underdeveloped humor, and a lack of depth for its leads, leaving it more confusing than charming.
