Daniel Kibblesmith is killing it with this adventure tale for the Trickster God and the conclusion of the series' opening arc is equal parts engaging, funny, and heartfelt. Read Full Review
Kibblesmith and Bazaldua guide Loki through an in-depth analysis of his history and personality as he engages in a search for his destiny that seems to be rendered in fragments that are so scattered that even he isnt terribly well-equipped to understand them. The initial story arc is fun and breezy while getting substantially into the depth of human understanding through the thoughts and feelings of a god. It continues to be a very sharp journey. Loki #4 is worth reading"especially for any fans of Loki out there. It's been fascinating watching him pick up the pieces of his life. But this issue pushed that plot further than I expected, and is clearly setting up for something much bigger looming on the horizon. And personally? I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next. Read Full Review
Loki #4 beautifully puts together a masterfully crafted and promising new storyline for David Kibblesmith's own Loki. His well rounded development of this character resonates with the reader and leaves you yearning for more. Read Full Review
On the art front, this issue, overall had some really fantastic work, showing Loki as a child, the Nightmare realm and the future of Midgard. However, there's a continuity snarl, at least in my copy, that is actually really important and it threw me out of the story for a brief moment. Thankfully Kibblesmith's writing drew me right back in. Read Full Review
Kibblesmith and Bazaldua knocked it out of the park again. This book is so much fun. The combination of moment-to-moment fun and an overarching plot that constantly hints at something bigger is, to me, an extraordinarily rare gift. I really hope the book is only skipping December and not actually getting canceled.
This is a really well-written series. Too bad it's only got one issue left.
Loki 4 is absolutely hilarious, and Loki’s humor is the best part of the series. The dialogue, arc, and plot were in sync and all together they made a great comic
Haha nice.
I appreciate the line "we'll murder each other like civilized people" nodding at the debt Loki owes the Princess Bride here. Vizzini would be proud of his scheming.
