    Comicosity - Jessica Boyd Sep 15, 2016

Mockingbird is a go to, feel good, belly laugh inducing, adventure ride every month. This issue is no exception. Murder mystery abounds, convoluted solutions exist and lots of humorous art abounds. Some might be annoyed that the tie-in to Civil War II connects Bobbie too much to the stories of the men in her life, the cliffhanger looks to have the potential refocus everything back in her direction. Major Spoilers - Matthew Peterson Sep 19, 2016

Every once in a while, a book comes along that you have to keep reminding people is wonderful (Fraction/Aja 'Hawkeye', McDuffie's run on 'Justice League', the McKelvie/Gillen 'Young Avengers') that you just KNOW isn't long for the world, and this book is it. Mockingbird #7 is another incredibly funny, strangely tense and well-written issue, featuring inspired art and dialogue, as well as a surprise return that knocked my socks off. Read Full Review

If you want to laugh, want to stay on your toes and kept guessing, or both, then read Mockingbird issue #7. This is a non-stop thrill with plenty of mystery and just enough murder. Unfortunately, the Civil War II tie-in is more of a link to men in Bobbi's life – but we can look past this. Read Full Review

There's certainly a bunch of nonsense to get us to our ending in this one folks and while the ending may be big enough to overlook the rest.......... and since this series kind of prides itself on nonsense, you might be able to get into it, but the comedy that I usually enjoy in this series just doesn't hit here to me and the situation just seems slapped together to get us to our next story.  Thankfully though, I really want to see that story and the art throughout getting us there was amazing.   Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp Sep 19, 2016

Mockingbird #7 will deliver the identity of the person responsible for getting Bobbi on the boat as well as the murder. Hardcore Marvel fans might get a chill out of the reveal of the Midnight Rider being responsible for Bobbi's recent troubles (well, one of them), but it's a bit anticlimactic for the series winking so hard at us for the rest of the issue you wonder if anyone involved can actually still see straight. Hopefully the reveal will add a bit of drama back into the comic (since a murder certainly didn't work) and help balance the next issue. For fans. Read Full Review
