Godlewski delivers some fun and intriguing art throughout the issue. The lighter tone of the story is perfect for the visual style at play here and it beautifully captures the levity of the story visually. Read Full Review

This issue takes us to a different planet where we see a familiar X-Men foe if you have been watching the '97 series lately. Iman and Sabir are given the liberty to do what they please with these characters, and the amount of love for the material is shown in the writing. Kamala is on an adventurous tale to find herself and there isn't anyone better to write her tale. Read Full Review

I don't mind what they're doing here but wouldn't it work better if it was more all-ages(ish) and marketed more clearly toward younger readers?

This was a fun read, though I agree with AmericanHealthcare's review, in that I feel like this would be better as more of an all-ages book. Don't get me wrong, though, I enjoyed this for what it was and I liked the way Kamala was written here. I'm just hoping we can get back to the quality of the previous miniseries from Vellani & Pirzada.

Dang. Not an easy comic to like. In the first few scenes, Lila Cheney shows everything that's wrong with Lila Cheney. Like most Mojo stories, this is packed to bursting with pop culture references that will age like milk. (At least there's a tiny smidge of social commentary, as you do get in good Mojo stories.) The art is pretty good--except when it's unclear.

This feels like a digression and a sideshow. I'm hoping the authors didn't use up all their Jersey City material in #1; THAT'S where I want to see Kamala (and definitely not in the background of X-Men).

Mojo is a character I should love, and yet all he brings is mid.
