A barbarian walks into a brothel and thus begins another adventure in the life of Conan of Cimmeria. Human traffickers finally meet an immovable human. Black Widow is drawn into the intrigue by following the trail of bodies left by Kulan Gath's henchman, and a last prayer from one of the trafficked women summons an unexpected angel, the Son Of Satan himself, Daimon Hellstrom. It's the Marvel team-up you didn't know you needed until now. Pre-order Savage Avengers Annual # 1 or go to hell.

Savage Avengers Annual #1 is a nonstop action-packed thrill ride that finds Conan unusually in his element despite being in an entirely new world. It's a bit inconsequential, as is so often the case with annuals, but it's still a really great time! Read Full Review
Ron Garney does some amazing work with the art in this issue. The tone and style of the art are perfect for the dark, gritty tone of the story. Read Full Review
This isn't mandatory reading, but if you've enjoyed the series thus far and want to see a delightful side adventure, this could very much be your jam. Read Full Review
Savage Avengers still feels like a book looking for both a purpose and an identity and unfortunately, this Annual provides neither. Its a forgettable story that gets us going towards the next phase of the story, but besides that, there isnt much to write home about. To make matters worse, that little bit could have been thrown into the next regular issue as one or two splash pages to save us all some money. I am shifting from liking this book to wanting to like it and I just hope I dont go further down that ladder. Read Full Review
Personally I loved this issue. So far Savage Avengers has had its bright moments but has been at most mediocre. If they followed this format that they had in the annual, I think it would have been a lot better rather than dropping everyone in the middle. Have the members each have a motivation to investigate a human trafficking ring but they find that the unit is actually part of the sickle cult tied to the evil wizard.
Savage Avengers continues to be Marvel’s most underrated title, even with this unexpected Annual. Savage Avengers Annual 1 does everything it needs to do: It’s bloody and violent, and it advances the story as Conan gets closer to New York. Kulan Gath seems like a much more scary villain after this issue, as it is revealed how far his influence really is. The Sickles gang were great punching bags for Conan, Hellstrom, and Natasha. Lately, Hellstrom has died in Strikeforce and gone bald in Avengers, but Duggan and Garney do him right. Natasha is totally a bad ass and Duggan leaves the door open for Natasha and Hellstrom to re-enter the fray in later issues of Savage Avengers. Ron Garney’s art was great and it fit the time perfectly. Reamore
Solid annual. Decent story that fits in with what has been happening. Also I enjoy the Conan map.
This was a lot of fun, maybe even more fun that the main issues of this book are. The art could've been a bit better, although it did quite suit the story.
I really liked this one compared to the recent issues of the main run. I liked the execution and the art was solid.
A solid read, I love how much Conan hates magic. Also how he’s such a gentleman.
This was fun. Like every issue of this title.
Obrigado, really? And jungle in southern Brazil?
