This writing this art is everything i love about comic books. The sentry is such an amazing character I love the psychedelic elements of who he is. This comic is what really got me hooked for life on comics. In hopes I can find something that made me feel like this book did. Amazing first issue
Man, something about Jenkins' writing really does it for me. This was a hell of a first issue. The creative team that killed it with the brilliant 12-issue Inhumans story is back with a strange and haunting tale about a guy named Bob who may or may not have been a superhero once upon a time, but definitely is having a real rough go of things right now. I'm interested to see how this plays out. I know a bit about Sentry from having seen him pop up in other comics but I wanted to read his origin. I can't say this is what I expected, but so far I'm definitely into it. Jae Lee's art is perfect for the story, and Jenkins does a tremendous job going back and forth between the hoaky golden-age comic panels and Jae Lee's haunting artwork in the premore
