RATED T+
This book was exceptional and I couldn't put it down. This series was fun and invigorating. I would definitely be on the lookout for another Tim Seeley series. Read Full Review
Spider-Gwen: Gwenverse #5 wraps up the character development of Spider-Gwen thoughtfully and respectfully. Read Full Review
This is only a short series so I would wait for the trade paperback to come out now and then buy all of these together. Read Full Review
Final ThoughtsA predictable ending lends itself to an enjoyable, but lackluster finish to the series. Overall, it was a fun and interesting look into the Gwen Stacy of Earth-65 and how she views herself. Read Full Review
Spider-Gwen swinging away from this multiverse of her own selves is the best move she's made in 2022. Read Full Review
It leans hard on a "self-esteem saves the day" theme that didn't work for me, but I'll accept my share of the responsibility. If the creators didn't reach out too far, neither did I.
This was terrible. I really feel like this is a step back for Spider-Gwen as a character. Hopefully, it doesn't really change her.
I'm not giving this a score because I just don't understand it. Was anyone demanding The Story About All The Character's Alternate Versions, starring Gwen Stacy wearing different Marvel super-hero identities like skins in a video game? Who is psyched to see Wolverine But It's Gwen Stacy (or is it Gwen Stacy But It's Wolverine?) run out on stage for a few pages, as shallow as a character can be? I guess this just wasn't made for me.
