    Weird Science - Branden Murray

Brothers from other mothers, Spider-Man and Deadpool, takingon the likes of Itsy-Bitsy continues to be enthralling, but its releaseschedule is less than ideal, taking another break until MAY! However Kelly andMcGuiness, when present on the title, make it worth paying attention too. Therevolving door of guest writers, outside that main team though, make it hard torecommend on a month in and  month outbasis when they're absent too often.  Read Full Review

    AIPT - Russ Whiting

    Feb 22, 2017

Spider-Man/Deadpool #14 further wrests the characters from their conventional roles and threatens to spin them out of control while retaining all the usual humor, intrigue and fun we've come to expect from the series. Bottom line: when Kelly and McGuinness are together on this top tier title, it's a must buy. Read Full Review

    Superior Spider-Talk - Cain Winstead

    Feb 24, 2017

Shocking moments and dramatic reveals start to tie together plot threads between opening arc "Isn't it Bromantic" and the current "Itsy Bitsy." Spider-Man/Deadpool #14 takes Spider-Man to uncharted waters which doesn't land quite as strongly as it could due to the title's unorthodox shipping schedule. Read Full Review

Proving once more that the team "Kelly-McGuinness-Morales-Keith" kicks-ass, this issue pulls forward the "Itsy-Bitsy" story-arch in a way that previuos issues hadn't quite managed to, delivering much needed story progression and answers to some past questions. As always, the strongest features are a solid characterization (that is now pushing the titular heroes to unimmaginable extremes) and a breath-taking art, that shows-off shamelessly also thanks to the imaginative panel structure. The icing on the cake is a masterfully-played Nightcrawler leaving the reader drooling for more cameos.

The forces driving Spider-Man to murder stand revealed at last. Surprise, it's (kinda) Deadpool's fault! This issue ties the title's ongoing story into the upcoming crossover about the implosion of Deadpool's marriage. It's an incredibly apt connection whether it's a day-one contrivance or a happy accident. The plotting in this issue is strong and thought-provoking, but the script and the art are a bit confusing. In the first act, you're keeping track of a frenetic three-way sparring match and two important conversations all happening simultaneously. It's an over-abundance of quality material that you have to consciously unpack and ponder.

This is a great comic. I love the creators and the art is solid. The splash pages can be a bit difficult to follow at times which made me go back and re read a number of times to figure things out. Other than that, top notch take on these characters with repercussions that make sense. It's tough to go through hell twice and leave unscathed mentally, I assume.
