This is the comic book you're looking for. Action, surprises, humor, excellent writing, and superb visuals. You'll never want to leave this story from a long time ago…in a galaxy far, far away. Highest possible recommendation. Read Full Review

I've become even more immersed in the Star Wars universe, and despite a bit of lackluster art, I'm all in on this series! Read Full Review

Hopefully the arc throws in a few twists and turns in the last three issues too, because it's been fairly predictable for the last few issues. While I still think it'll be a shame if this arc doesn't feel lke a satisfying conclusion, I'm optimistic about the recently-announced Empire Ascendant one shot that seems to serve as a true finale to this era of Star Wars storytelling. I'm even more excited to find out what comes next from Marvel publishing since almost all of their Star Wars series end in December. Seems like we might be in for a relaunch of Star Wars comics. I'm hoping to get some announcements later today at NYCC. Can't wait to find out! Read Full Review

What makes this issue feel like a disappointment is that previous installments were so strong, a more methodically-paced issue fails to meet the expectations set by previous issues, yet is still a relatively entertaining read, even if it's not full of much excitement. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - John Edward Lee Oct 11, 2019

At this point, this series is pretty much just waiting to die. With just a handful of issues left, the story needs to dramatically change. It's hard to expect it can get there. The new series can't come soon enough. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge Oct 8, 2019

While I don't believe the intention was to run out the clock on this series to get to 75 issues, knowing a new team is taking over with that book and that we're going to get a different cast to work with since Han'll be out of the picture, this storyline just isn't delivering what's needed. Everything feels like it's just kind of hanging there and far too decompressed without enough meat in each installment to make it feel worthwhile. I like some aspects of what Pak is doing here and I'm still surprised how much I'm liking how Noto is illustrating it, but this is likely going to be the least memorable arc in the run for me.
