The high point of this issue for me is when Valance flys the X-Wing. The observant fans will notice that the Fighter has the blue sash on it as opposed to the red. Which makes it look more like a sequel era X-Wing. But other than that. It's an awesome visual that had me whooping for Valance to open a can of kickass. Read Full Review
Another great issue in this series. Even though this is chapter 2 in the storyline you can grab this issue and start reading and you won't be lost at all. If you're the least bit interested in Star Wars, this is the book you want to pick up. Read Full Review
Complaints aside, I am enjoying this overall with how both stories in terms of their scope. The time as an Imperial is interesting even if it does shoehorn in Han, which it doesn't need, while the present-day stuff is working far better for me since it's been more about Valance himself and not overwhelmed with a ton of “Name” bounty hunters. Just using Dengar and throwing a few other non-name ones in the mix works well since they're not main characters. I have grown to like Valance more than I did at the start of this series and just wish we had more downtime and a chance to just exist instead of constantly moving to more action with each page. There's a lot of good character to draw from here and you definitely want to explore that, especially since Prianto's artwork is so good. Read Full Review
Sadly, Ethan Sacks did nothing to make anyone care, which is the plight of this series as of late. There's some good dialog here and a good depiction there, along with a short flashback sequence that is more interesting than the main story. Read Full Review
When taken one panel at a time, the book is giving us some exciting, intergalactic combat, but when they're all put together, it's just a confusing barrage of tropes that has yet to establish what to expect from this current arc. Read Full Review

I am conflicted here. Up to this point I really have been enjoying this run not only because of the story, but also because there has not been any SJW pandering that new era Star Wars is known for, until now. It seems like there is this gradual move to push this same sex couple narrative. First in the sequel trilogy with the kiss, then in the book Star Wars The High Republic: Light of the Jedi with Marlowe and Vellis of Naboo, and now with Losha Tarkon and her wife T'onga. Maybe I am over reacting but this does not feel like Star Wars , you can feel the SJW politics being propagated here by the cancel culture. I would have given this issue a 9/10 if it was not for that. more
