Overall, I was thrilled to turn the pages of Star Wars: Darth Vader #10.Throughout the issue, the artwork is superb. Seeing the summa-verminoth in a comic was much more intimidating as the art team shows that dealing with the crushing tentacles may be better than dealing with its other powers. The latter half of the issue forces Vader to face his past, which he hasn't had to do in the last few issues. Pak can weave these powerful moments throughout the series that really make the events of Return of the Jedihit harder, and this bookis no exception. If there was one issue to read in this series, this is the one. Read Full Review
This Darth Vader comic is directly digging into elements from the Rise of Skywalker film. If that doesnt float your boat, then you might want to give it a pass until the story arc concludes. But I recommend it to Darth Vader fans who are willing to see what their favorite Sith Lord faces in this comic. Read Full Review
While we have to wait until April for the answers, Pak and Ienco produced an exciting penultimate chapter, finally putting Darth Vader in the driver's seat. Read Full Review
Darth Vader works through some good stuff here even if I'm not thrilled by the creature, something that for the whole sequel trilogy finale just didn't click with me in what was intended with it. I get how it fits within the galaxy overall with other creatures we've seen, from the asteroid worm to the whales in Rebels for example, but something like this just feels like it leans into the Cthulhu style material in a way that doesn't quite land. But what we get out of Vader is really good stuff as he again is forced to confront his past, his prior self, and his future all at the same time and jumbled at times as well to create fresh new conflict. It's intriguing and I'm definitely curious to see where Pak is taking this to help bind together the trilogies all the more. Read Full Review
If you are already on board with this series then I would recommend this one. For anyone else maybe go back and read the earlier stories in the series as it is getting a bit late to get into it now. Read Full Review
This issue serves as a bridge between the last story on Mustafar and the upcoming promise of a trip to the heart of Exegol. But in and of itself it is still an amazing space battle and Vader battles past the empire and a monstrous blockade in order to reach the Emperor and the answers he seeks. Read Full Review
Despite this issue largely setting the stage for the climactic conclusion of this storyline, it still manages to keep the audience engage, which includes Vader hitching a ride on one of the most unlikely transports in the galaxy. Read Full Review

It was slipping off the rails, two issues ago.... but as much as I was holding on to see if things would get back on track, this latest release has Vader "jumping the shark" and "Nuking the Fridge".
