This comic is really starting to tie into a lot of the greater themes of Star Wars, and I'm excited to see that. I'm also glad to see Hera, even if I think we went into this a little soon. I'm really glad that we've found a way to make Doctor Aphra a more integrated part of the extended canon, without making it not feel like Aphra anymore, and am really looking forward to future issues. Chaos follows Aphra as she and the mercenaries board a Rebel ship commanded by a familiar face. The story is fun, with plenty of action and drama, not to mention a bit of romance. The visuals are excellent, with the characters outstanding and the setting splendid. This is another terrific installment in this series. Read Full Review
Aphra now has two enemies gunning for her, both representing large amounts of power. Aphra, in true form, awaits another conflict wit Farrus with a sly grin. Maybe the old Aphra is still in there after all. Read Full Review
Doctor Aphra has been a struggle in some ways from the start, which has been frustrating considering how well handled she was in the Vader series that spawned her. Read Full Review
It's easy to forget what Aphra is even trying to accomplish at the moment. But the strong character dynamics are enough to keep the book humming along regardless. Read Full Review
Doctor Aphra has proven to be one of the most exciting new additions to the Star Wars universe, yet the recent arc in the series has suffered from introducing a gaggle of new characters to accompany Aphra on her latest mission. Read Full Review
Dr Aphra is always one step ahead, she's like the Batman of the Star Wars universe. This is shaping up to be the best arc by far. But uh oh, did we trigger the homophobic user reviewers again? Poor babies, won't someone think of the homophobes?
We get a character from Rebels in this comic that will certainly have a big role in the canon from now on. This is another adventure worthy of Star Wars with Aphra being Aphra.
Aphra started out as an interesting character with identifiable traits and a good core background. This recent arc has relegated all of that to the background and instead, only focuses on her being a lesbian. Boring arc and a waste of money at this point.
