After having had several issues where Han and Chewie have been separated. It is somewhat of a relief to see the team back together again as the two characters really do compliment each other. The addition of Thaedra to the mix made for a little fun as well. Especially given that it means that Han is the one that is having to follow and not lead. Read Full Review
While other Star Wars comic book series aim to add new insight into the franchise as a whole, this chapter just delivers compelling and entertaining character sidequests that are sure to delight longtime fans of the galaxy far, far away. Read Full Review
I continue to have low expectations for this series and it does deliver on them, though that's not exactly a real criticism. The series is something that has a lot it can play with but it's leaning into the action-adventure side more than anything else. Which is fine, if not for it playing up against big things. Han on Coruscant doesn't feel right, nor angling against Tarkin of all people. It just ends up being referential instead of storytelling as there are plenty of other places and characters it could have used that would have worked just as well. But we're here with either “yay, Takin!” or “ugh, Tarkin” responses because the character has been used a lot. I want more from this series but at the same time, I'm weirdly becoming content with a low-stakes romp like this. Read Full Review
Worth it if you are a huge Han Solo and Chewbacca fan or just a casual Star Wars fan that doesnt want to do the whole twisted storyline thing. Read Full Review
This book has so much potential, Guggenheim is sometimes a strong writer but in this book he is using bland plot devices and ignoring any development of the main characters. Just rename this book if Han and Chewie are just going to be Phaedra's sidekicks. This is nothing like Aphra who made Vader seem even more interesting by playing off him. This is just Phaedra demonstrating all the skills and planning which Han should be doing and Chewbacca being ignored entirely. Read Full Review
I like seeing Tarkin, other than that this issue was pretty bland. The entire story has been pretty bland. Greedo begging for his life and yet another infiltration into a highly guarded building with barely any preparation. Tarkin is easily coerced and takes almost his entire garrison with him. Han and Chewie take them out pretty easily after they tell the audience that they are called "Death Troopers" for a reason, yet they pose absolutely no threat. They leap out of the window onto a moving train without breaking any bones or rolling off, but hey, it's comics - throw gravity to the wind. As I said - bland. Nothing new to see here.
