Mace's faith in the Jedi path is tested when he is challenged - by one of his own!
Rated T
The best issue in this mini-series, with Windu's past and present shown. This is what I want this Jedi Master's adventures to be! Great parallel stories and great visuals. This is a Jedi tale to follow. Read Full Review
I do hope the comic gets back to actually dealing with the Jedi Orders hypocrisies instead of just excusing or glossing over them like Clone Wars always did, but at least its still showing them, I guess? Im going to reserve judgment on saying that its not living up to its potential, but this issue did certainly stray from the path a bit. Well see with the next one if they manage to find their way back. Read Full Review
With one more issue to go it still feels like the Mace Windu series is lacking something in terms of serious stakes. There have been fun moments to be sure but the lack of engaging characters outside of Mace, who himself is supported only by the meager movie moments overall, and a lack of a strong enough narrative to keep it all moving forward this issue feels like it's spinning its wheels a bit more than the rest. The flashback just solidifies that feeling even more. I do like most of the characters involved here and the general idea but it just feels like the execution isn't clicking right and there's not enough to really latch onto in a meaningful way. The decision to include a flashback storyline in this series hasn't done anything to help its visual consistency. Read Full Review
I will probably buy the last issue because I'm a completist, but please, please if you are on a limited budget like most people do not waste your precious resources on this drivel. If you're curious give it a go when it hits the shelves of your local library or Marvel Unlimited. Until then save your pennies. Read Full Review
The majority of this issue take place in the past. It sort of takes away from the task at hand but it did give a lot of insight into what Mace Windu was like as a young child. This isn't my favorite series out there so far, but this is an improvement.
