• Having rooted out the rebellion in their ranks, Master Windu and his companions make their final stand against the AD-W4 and his droid army!

The final battle concludes, but foreshadows trouble ahead for the Jedi. The story's final half is more interesting than the battle, but the visuals are very strong. I hope that Mace gets other adventures from Marvel. Read Full Review
The Mace Windu series gives us a bit of a look at some of the end of Republic era material for the character combined with a little bit of his backstory previously. The final wraps things up about as expected and while there are a couple of nice touches about Windu himself it feels like there wasn't anything significant enough to really make it fully engaging. I liked it well enough but it felt like it could have been an issue shorter without much difference if it had tightened up the material with the droids and AD-W4. There are a lot of areas to explore here as we saw from the Clone Wars series with a lot of characters, Windu included, but this one just didn't click strong enough for me. I want more of this character and this period, however. Read Full Review
Overall, I found this comic less impressive and enjoyable than others from the Star Wars lines this year. We had so many strong titles, such as Darth Vader, Captain Phasma, Doctor Aphra and Poe Dameron, that having one that is so much weaker is a disappointment. That being said, if youre a diehard fan of the prequel era, Im sure youll still enjoy this comic. Read Full Review
It's a great conclusion for the volume, which ended up being one strong addition to the Star Wars mythology. Although we already have way too many Clone Wars' stories out there (and few of them are in any way inventive), seldom do we get this kind of reflection on what the war meant to the jedi order and its contradictions.
A solid ending to one of the more "meh" series currently running in the Star Wars comics. Mace Windu does continue to remain a fairly interesting character. More so than we were able to see in the films. I'm glad the series is over though.
