German Peralta has some beautiful and detailed visuals in this issue. The character moments are filled with beautiful, expressive faces and the action is fantastic. Both the scene in Hulklings apartment and the final battle in the ruins are rendered beautifully and match the tone of this story. Read Full Review
This is the issue that brings it all together. The team dynamics are great, and the mission is falling into place. The fun action scene is not only a blast to read, but is filled with meaning that was earned and excellently delivered on. It is keeping and building on its dark atmosphere and it leaves us with a hint that it's about to reach a new height. Read Full Review
Strikeforce is one hell of a fun time, and few teams are this entertaining to watch. Read Full Review
I found this issue to be paced well and visually enjoyable. However, in my opinion, there seems to be too many characters for one book. For instance, I dont understand Winter Soldiers role as he didnt do much for the story. The writing was enthralling and weaved a tapestry of intrigue that left me wanting to know more of the subplot that was developing between Angela and Brigit. I am looking forward to the next issue. Strikeforce #3 had so many great character moments. I am shocked, and pleasantly surprised at how much I love this series so far. Tini Howard really knows how to capture each characters individual voice. As a lifelong Wiccan fan, I can't get enough of him in this series and the banter between everyone on the team.
Howard continues to write a fun team book. Each character gets a moment to shine and kick all the ass and German Peralta's art is AMAZING. I love this series.
My confidence in the characterization and the plot are growing.
Now that I have learned to temper my expectations I am having a fun time with this book.
There's something missing here. As much as I want to like this series, it's hard.
I liked this more than before, though it still has a touch of the jumbles about it.
