It's a bottle episode! Things get tense inside GLA HQ after the team holds a local politician (and super villain) hostage despite being forbidden from all super hero-related activities. Featuring special guest star Ant-Man (if you squint really hard and pretend that maybe he's just so small that you can't see him, and also he doesn't talk for some reason)!
Rated T+
In summary, you should read this comic if you're up to date with the story. If you're not, it won't take you long to catch up and we assure you that you'll want to keep reading on. If not, we'll give you your money back (not!). Read Full Review
Kidnapping Nain Rouge will surely set up a never-ending comedy of errors that the team must hustle to overcome. This series continues to be a funny and appropriately unexciting. The stakes are low, which allows for more comedic scenes between the sparse action. Villains are secondary because the heroes are their own worst enemies. It's one of the best comedy series available. Read Full Review
Good character work and nice artwork, albeit somewhat hectic. Read Full Review
Hijinks abound as the Avengers' lawyer Connie Ferrari makes a surprise visit while the Great Lakes Avengers are indisposed. And by "indisposed," I mean "holding someone hostage." A couple of amusing scenes and some clean renderings still don't add up to a very worthwhile comic book. Read Full Review
This issue suffered without Robson’s amazing art but the humor and character writing form Gorman is there. These characters are growing on me
The art seemed a bit off in this issue for me. Both in colors and pencils. The story was far better for me. The team starts to fall apart and show some major flaws. Arguments, lack of leadership, and lack of discipline all come crashing down threatening the teams status. I like where this book is going.
The art was a giant step down. Without Will Robson, I was left asking, "Why am I reading this?" The story did not do much for me.
