This is some kind of masterpiece. I don't even know how to begin to explain how awesome this comic is. First and foremost, it's the ultimate culmination of all the great little science, computer and mathematics bits that North has been seeding into his comic since the beginning. Doreen is taking computer classes at school, and while I don't understand a thing about coding, he makes it seem so easy as it incorporates it into this comic. It always comes off as clever and educationally adorable. Read Full Review

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #11 is a surprising one-shot. It's the rare instance in which a comic includes a lesson plan in its DNA and succeeds. That and the inclusion of a guest artists could have made this issue an exception to the rest of the series, but instead it's another excellent issue. You could take The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #11 and place it in anyone's hands, confident that it shows the best of what this series has to offer. And this is a series that has a lot to offer. For those of you who have stayed away from this book because it centers on Squirrel Girl I beg you to pick up this issue. It showcases everything that has been great about this series since it starteda creative narrative that incorporates classic characters in inventiveways, a massive amount of charming wit, and a touching message that makes you feel good about yourself without being overly sappy. Without question this one of the best and most consistent books Marvel is currently publishing. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Reggie Hemingway Aug 29, 2016

TRIGGER WARNING: If you are triggered by learning some basics of computer science, stay away from this issue! Everyone else should check it out. This issue skews a little more to the "educational" side, but it's still super funny and really entertaining. I highly recommend this comic book, for children and adults, in particular those adults who know exactly nothing about computer science or even the most rudimentary coding (me.) Read Full Review

Endearing, entertaining, and has solid writing backed up by equally solid art. Another win in the continuing story of Squirrel Girl, with a little lesson in programming to back it up. Read Full Review
