I honestly love this sort of book, its not just a great exhibit of comic book art and also a heart-warming tribute to the comic book community. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this comic and seeing all of the love that went into it, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Squirrel Girl, Ryan North, or even just comics in general. Unbeatable Squirrel Girl#26 is a real treat as independent cartoonists, the creator ofGarfield, and even the book's colorist get to take a stab at some of the more familiar faces in the Marvel Universe while also giving Squirrel Girl's supporting cast a moment in the sun. It's sometimes poignant and always funny. Read Full Review

WINNERS: * Brain Drain's gloriously inept cheer-you-up comics * Kraven vs. Spider-Man diss comics * Galactus & Silver Surfer remapped onto Garfield & John Arbuckle, which works better than it has any right to * Howard the Duck submitting a pornographic comic starring himself because yeah, Howard WOULD do that * YOU if you like absurdist humor in a Dinosaur Comics vein with a few mild connections to Squirrel Girl and other Marvel heroes. LOSERS: * Baby's First Introspective Wolverine Comic drawn in SuperDouche„¢ indie style by somebody you just KNOW has Opinions about his community's vegan dining options. * A well-intentioned but unsuccessful attempt to draw a mobius/palindromic/pinwheel comic strip for Loki * YOU if you consider more

Regardless of how innovative, clever, or funny the stories were - and only a couple hit the mark - this was not the place to include a full 20-page non-canon anthology collection. A serially bad decision. It would've been better to put (only 2-3 of them) as humor backup to some special giant sized issue with a canon lead.
