Typhoid Mary is back in Manhattan and has set her sights on Hell's Kitchen. With Daredevil preoccupied trying to take down Mayor Fisk, a power vacuum has suddenly formed in Manhattan's most dangerous neighborhood, and Typhoid Mary aims to fill it with her own unique brand of chaos. But Daredevil isn't the only guardian watching over the Kitchen's residents... and SPIDER-MAN is going to prove it!

Despite some issues, TYPHOID FEVER: SPIDER-MANis a good start for this three-issue limited series. Typhoid Mary is letting madness loose on Manhattan, and it promises to take us to some interesting places despite a couple of hiccups in the story. The attempts at meta narrative can be over-the-top at times, but Typhoid Fever #1 delivers a heart-breaking character study that's partly fascinating because of it's female perspective. The art is also quite good.
