Deniz Camp and Alex Paknadel turn in a script oozing with ideas about the nature of humanity, hope, and if a better world can happen complete with talking dogs, nihilistic robots, cosmic surgery, and a truly unique take on Daredevil. This book is worth reading for the Ultimate Daredevil sequence alone which is fourth wall shattering comics storytelling at its finest from Camp, Paknadel, and Javier Pulido. Read Full Review

But the truth is, theyre just as powerless to stop the inevitable as any of us. Now, dont think this is a story about hopelessness. In a lot of ways The Ultimate Universe: Two Years In #1 feels like the beginning of what has been alluded to as the final chapter in the Ultimate Universe lineup of books. While it doesn't tie in too intricately with what has been going on, it does establish a tone and themes that have been bubbling under the surface. Im behind on this and I see the mixed scores. But I dug this. It plays with a lot of cosmic ideas ad Kirby-isms but at its core its about a team having to realize their role and what they can do to help in a hopeless situation. The part with Daredevil was insanely cool in its 4th wall breaking and utilizing comic structure as a weapon. Its not quite fully poignant bit I see the vision. I like it.

I wasn't that big of a fan of of this book. Just felt clunky and I really disliked the Daredevil parts.
