The Tomorrow People
The world stands on the brink of genetic war. Mankind makes the first move, launching an army of giant, cybernetic executioners called Sentinels-programmed to target and eliminate mutants. The only force preventing total annihilation: the X-Men!
For a first issue, Mark truly hit it out of the park! A great introduction to our characters and very nice nods to past media on this team. The art only had a couple of pages out of like the mid-'30s to really hit a nosedive. But other than that, the art was gorgeous. At times the issue is very dialogue-heavy. Would highly recommend this. If you are enjoying the current X-Men books, then give this one a whirl as well! Read Full Review
For me this nails what the X-Men are..I like that they were created by humans and I love the origin of all our favorites. This retelling doesn't stray too much for the original marvel origins it just turns up the volume
When it came out, it was hard for me to swallow because I didn’t like the changes, especially to Storm, but now I can appreciate it.
It's pretty cool for the first issue of the series. It introduces all characters, shows them in action and even sets up the villains. Not all things are fine here, but it's good.
