There are, unfortunately, a lot of scenes where it is difficult to distinguish what is going on -- particularly those featuring Nightcrawler, Wolverine and Deadpool. I totally get that Otherworld is this mythical, mystical place; and I see how this seemingly impressionistic artistic style would portray that idea, but I don't think that it is the best for this book. I also hope that readers are clued into the actual war that is going on in the background. Read Full Review

This is my third issue in a row of "Uncanny X-Force" and it is every bit as enjoyable as I didn't expect it to be. I'm not a fan of Deadpool, I was clueless about Fantomex, had no interest in Psylocke and considered Wolverine to be heavily overexposed. Still, I gave the series a sample with #20 and have come back, eagerly, since. Leinil Yu and Jason Keith provide us with an epic shot of Fantomex and Psylocke riding a dragon. The cover could've benefit from a more impressive background but the main focus is detailed beautifully. Fantomex's hands seem a bit awkward as well. He partially looks like he's trying to cop a feel on Psylocke. Overall though, impressive cover. Read Full Review

Whatever minor plot problems this arc may have, Remender looks poised to tie everything together nicely enough in the finale. But will the art be up to the task? Read Full Review

Mid-arc, this isn't a jumping-on point, but if you're already following the title, the story is moved forward with some revelatory exposition, so you might as well keep up with the story. Read Full Review

The series that was getting better and better over the past year just keeps sliding downhill. There really is no better way to describe the catastrophe that this story arc is. I am so incredibly bored and confused that I seriously don't want to read next issue. Simply put, this story is just bad. Read Full Review
