"VENDETTA" PART II
•  Classic X-Force villain STRYFE has returned! And he's eager to exact his revenge on the man who left him broken and adrift in the timestream: CABLE.
•  As Stryfe's plan comes to bear, Hope is brought face-to-face with Bishop, the man who crusaded across centuries in a mission to exterminate her. But this time around, she's ready to retaliate...and they'll hold nothing back as they race to destroy one another.
•  Don't miss this no-holds-barred, knockdown, drag-out X-FORCE event! Because when the dust settles, only ONE X-Force team will be left standing...

While I know these events are set to close both books and launch a new X-Force title (With Spurrier at the helm so I'm all for it!), I feel that with a new setup with Stryfe, the line is ripe to be continued. He's the anti-Cable and while he can make a horrible villain, he's also such a classic from the 90′s story lines that it'd be easy to bring him back for a good run and not just a few issues. Who knows? Maybe that will end up being part of the point of the next relaunch though I doubt we'll be seeing Stryfe for quite some time after this one comes to a close. Read Full Review

With these minor issues building for a big event. I don't find it to be a necessary. I don't recommend jumping to this issue first. If you have read Uncanny X-Force for the whole series , make sure you are still familiar with the Cable and X-Force title. I did not read Uncanny X-Force very much but I still find it to be a good series. The massive amounts of characters can be overwhelming. Even with these bad marks I can say that this issue is important for readers following the crossover event. This issue does fall short, and lacks excitement. Read Full Review
