"VENDETTA" PART IV
• Classic X-Force villain STRYFE has returned! And he's eager to exact his revenge on the man who left him broken and adrift in the timestream: CABLE.
• As Stryfe's plan comes to bear, Hope is brought face-to-face with Bishop, the man who crusaded across centuries in a mission to exterminate her. But this time around, she's ready to retaliate...and they'll hold nothing back as they race to destroy one another.
• Don't miss this no-holds-barred, knockdown, drag-out X-FORCE event! Because when the dust settles, only ONE X-Force team will be left standing...
Cable and X-force was my favorite book while it was running, and that team meshed really well with this team here in Uncanny X-Force. Both teams are full of edgier, less stuffy X-Men members who talked more like real people talk, really making this "Vendetta" arc a shorter, too cool for school version of "Battle of the Atom." While there's been no sign of Colossus and Domino joining (even after Colossus has so adamantly been saying Cable is now his leader) I'm really curious as to where the rest of the mutants who won't be accompying him will be ending up. It was an interesting fight and could be a setup to see Stryfe returning once again to cause chaos in Cable's world. If you had been following both X-Force series it worked ok but didn't feel that it flowed that well together. Still, the new X-Force is going to be amazing if 'X-Men Legacy's recent run is any indication and I cannot wait! Read Full Review
Vendetta' concludes in Uncanny X-Force #17 and after years of waiting for this thread in the mutant-o-sphere to reach a culmination, we get it in the form of a splatting, wet thud. The End. Read Full Review
