While I think an issue where Scott mourns and reminisces about his life with Jean is a good idea, that's not what this ended up being. It is just a recap of X-Men to this point with Scott occasionally referencing how he and Jean were doing at those points. This should have the subtext between between them during those events and stories of theirs we didn't get to see.
