was not expecting that ending
Hm... the structure of the issue is pretty much similar to the previous one. While X-Men are training, some new villain does evil things and gets defeated in the end. However, I think it was a bit too early to show that Prof can do things like this. It's a cheating, he can do this to almost every enemy, why would he need X-Men at all? Also the beginning was a bit weird. I don't think it was time yet to show that people know and love X-Men. And what did they do so far from their school at all? Also this Vanisher guy is a bit boring and his costume doesn't make any sense, it's more like he belongs to the Serpent Society. It's not like Magneto had some personality in the previous issue, but in comparison he still was better and he had much lesmore
After the Vanisher steals defense plans from the Pentagon, the X-Men confront him & his band of thugs at the White House when he comes to collect his extortion money. (Cover date: November, 1963)
Despite the simple designed villain, the thing that the book conveys to the audience is massive.Power illustrations are lit and it continues.
