The Fantastic Four may not have much history with Venom - beyond helping Spider-Man capture the symbiote way back when - but when both Doctor Doom and Kang the Conqueror start getting involved in the war...now we've got the FF's attention! It's a wild battle of mad geniuses that spans thousands of years and also the space of a breath - with stakes that only the Fantastic Four could fathom!

Venom War: Fantastic Four #1 was a nonstop thrill ride of excitement coming from the smartest characters in the Marvel Universe. It was a definitely very different for the Venom War, but I think it always somehow fit in perfectly. The comic does a great job showing just how huge the Venom War truly is. Read Full Review
At the very least, Venom War: Fantastic Four #1 is a great showcase for artist Joey Vasquez, who gets lots to do here. His style is cartoony in the best possible way; it leans into the zany Saturday morning-esque nature of this story, which essentially amounts to Doom and Kang playing Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots. Im not sure if its totally worth the hefty $4.99 price tag thats increasingly the norm in comics, but at least it looks fantastic. (Pun unintended this time.) Read Full Review
