"Weapons of Mutant Destruction" has been an entertaining crossover, despite the lame name. Greg Pak has done a good job with all of the characters in the cast and has made this a very fun read. Every aspect of the art is great. Read Full Review
Make no mistake, I'm all in for the finale in Totally Awesome Hulk #22, as this and the series as a whole has offered big time action with a cool special ops vibe. This late in the game, I still care little about the resurgent Weapon X program or its Frankenstein's Monster of a super-soldier creation. Not that the bland visual style is doing much to help this already underwhelming conflict. Read Full Review
Would've rated higher if Hulk hadn't stopped to chase down the others.
Badly-timed dissension between the Hulk and the mutants allows Weapon X to finish off its deadly Hulkverine project. Here's a sentence I never thought I'd write: I wish this issue were drawn by Greg Land. Greg Pak's script is action-movie dumb in a way that would only really work with scrupulously finished big-budget visuals. Marc Borstel and Ibraim Roberson are clearly trying hard, but they're also clearly not succeeding. The art for this story needs to make you go "holy ☠☠☠☠!" not "oh, bless them, they're doing their best."
