If you're thrown off by Laura not showing emotion (which isn't true, it very much showed up at the end) then you really don't know the character. Laura's emotional queues have ALWAYS been subtle, and she very rarely has big, expressive displays. Her reaction — locking down what she's feeling and focusing on the mission — is completely in-character.

I'll give you that she suppresses her emotions. But there was no reaction from her about meeting a deceased father-figure. She doesn't question how he's alive, or how she's been transported back to the past. Just because she suppresses emotions doesn't make these questions irrelevant for her, even if she's only reflecting on them in narration. Everyone has their own opinions though. Not saying your's is wrong. But for me, the lack of addressing these types of questions took me out of the story.

I'm guessing this Vanishing Point event occurs during Secret Empire, but that hasn't been explained in that series either. So as a one-shot story that asking for $5, I expect more from Marvel.
