Rated T+
This issue continues to mine gold from the wonderful Gabby/Deadpool partnership, while also making the most of Laura's new team-up with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Read Full Review
After all that strain Laura and Gabby went through during the Immune Arc it was nice to see them have light hearted moments in this issue. It does shift quickly back to something a bit dark by the end of the book but the consistent characterization of the cast were enough to compensate that shift. I do hope Tom Taylor doesn't drag the story too long though. Read Full Review
Despite its flaws,All-New Wolverine #22 is a good read. Laura is a great protagonist, Gabby is a good support character, and this is a fun adventure comic that is more interested in getting you to have fun than spending too long explaining itself. It definitely a recommended comic. Read Full Review
All-New Wolverine is arguably one of the best X-books on the shelf. Consistent writing and solid art help this book remain a good read month in and month out. Read Full Review
All-New Wolverine #22 does a very good job picking up where the previous arc left off and kick start a team-up story between Laura Kinney and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Tom Taylor once again shows off his strength at developing Laura's character and putting her in a position that will test who she is in and out of her role as Wolverine. Gabby also had some standout interactions with Deadpool and Groot that created a greater sense of worry for what happens next following the hook ending of All-New Wolverine #22. Read Full Review
Wolverine hitches a ride to space with the Guardians of the Galaxy. And Gabby and Jonathan are coming too. Putting Ms. Positivity 2017 Gabby Kinney into chummy scenes with first Deadpool and then Groot nearly results in cuteness overload. There's a notably great sci-fi adventure shaping up alongside Gabby's hilariousness, and the creators do a nice job of following directly from the last story arc while also giving this one a distinct flavor of its own. Both Tom Taylor and Leonard Kirk prove to be outstanding at portraying the Guardians. The only real fault of this fast, funny interstellar roadtrip is that we only get to read 19 pages of it this month.
More Gabby and Wade!
Now the Guardians of the Galaxy are guest staring in this comic. Although I love the Guardians with all my heart, I wish All-New Wolverine would quit it with the guest stars and let this comic grow to be its own thing. Solid art at least
When it goes too silly, I just don’t enjoy it
