why would give it that bad rating?

World War Hulk #4 was a dependable read that gave the reader a fast paced issue with plenty of action. It also served as a great set-up issue with a sweet hook ending that gets the reader pumped up for the final issue of World War Hulk. If you are a fan of rampant destruction then you will certainly enjoy this issue. Read Full Review
I've found myself gradually becoming a little less invested in World War Hulk as the series has gone on. The thrills of the first couple of issues have given way to a fairly formulaic and hollow story, albeit one which is fast-moving and visually exciting. The cliffhanger of this issue might promise the conflict between the Sentry and the Hulk that we've been waiting all series to see, but at this point, it's hard to get excited about yet another issue of fighting between the Hulk and one of his old friends. Still, I will commend Marvel for releasing an unpretentious action-fest of an event which lives up to its simple premise, providing enough spectacle to satisfy action junkies and never pulling its punches as far as the fight sequences are concerned. It's just a shame that there isn't more substance to go with it. Read Full Review
As I said when I started this rather lengthy review, this issue just did not live up to the hype. Maybe I am just tired of Hulk smashing people every issue and was looking for more substance. Maybe Green Lantern's Sinestro Corps War has spoiled me with its high octane action AND excellent story and character developments while World War Hulk did not deliver on the one thing it promised. Either way, the issue was okay, just not nearly as much fun as earlier parts. Read Full Review
What can I say... Epic. It could be even more epic if some of the heroes got a real permanent injury or died, but it's nice that way too.
The colors were a little bit bad. wouldn't it be better if the monster who fought the heroes was yellow or brown instead of dark pink? well the colors aside, we have more and more amazingly written lines. the speech bubbles of tony and reed fighting in the arena were painful. I'm loving it! weaker than the last issue but still enjoyable.

I love the Sentry, and the scenes with him were the best part about this issue, which is probably the only reason my rating isn't lower. Romita's art is getting sloppier, and the story is lacking.
